Unmatched wisdom

Once long ago I swiftly flipped the pages past Jesus’ simple stories to hurry to dwell in Paul’s eloquent, exalted company. Today however it’s a different story. For nothing approaches Jesus’ unmatched wisdom! For life’s lofty wisdom and countless prescriptions Jesus gave not as what they were (complex tedious discourses) but as what they had to be (simple light stories). For again, after all one has to know (up in the head) it still comes down to what one must do (down in our walk), and that’s what he dwelt on. Jesus!
