A flawed spirituality

March 14, 2017

This is what a flawed spirituality looks like: it ends up as an artificial bubble removed from the rest of life; it is complacent about its irrelevance; riddled with contradictions; filled with more talk than show, prayer than righteousness, among others. Spirituality ain’t the subset of life, life is the subset of spirituality. So most importantly: all otherworldly thought and emotion MUST bear a sense of participation to life as a whole, no not merely as an outsider spectating and speculating about life’s happenings, but leading and commanding it from the front. Wake up my dear blinkered spiritualists!
