Propensity disrupted

February 25, 2017

What disruption Christ’s teachings must have caused! The master becomes the slave, the slave the master. The one who leads the one who serves, and the one who follows the one served. But there had also been room for stability: The slave serving his master must do so even more, for now the one he serves is more than a master, a beloved brother; and the master dealing with a slave must do so with deep regard, for the one serving bears the Supreme Master’s stamp. Still, very disruptive of our typical propensities!!
