What is equality?

October 1, 2016

Of course equality is just what it means: uniformity, likeness, similarity. However, there are specific spheres and realms where largely the one standard of equality applies. That means where the anatomy of the sphere significantly differs (for whatever reason) -which then means one is entering a different sphere-, the standard (of equality) will change. Now it is for us (based on knowledge, the human experience and fundamental human make up) to decide (more precisely discern) where there is an actual difference in anatomy and where there is likeness. If we fail to discern, we will end up making gross errors. E.g. it will be like demanding that all Paralympians and Olympians run the same race because one feels there is an inequality in separating them.
