Evil haloed

September 19, 2016

No, bad/evil doesn’t get a halo because a good person has joined party. In fact it’s the good in that person that gets eroded. That’s why Scripture has noted: a righteous man who gives way to the wicked is like a muddied spring or a polluted well. It is not without reason that the proverb runs, ‘Tell your friend I’ll tell your character.’ For it’s not that one should not befriend another of inferior character, but what is shortly becoming of the one better. Beware who you’re party to, who gets your right hand of fellowship.
