Slow

September 3, 2016

A big lesson to learn in life is to slow it. For why should you hurry? Slow means steady. It means being present, giving the due attention/time, quitting anxiety and therefore exhaustion. It means being sincere. It’s a refusal to be artificial and cursory. It means safety, longevity. It means being in control. It means being thorough. So you see it produces the opposite of what slow is usually associated with, wastage: salvage? This lesson is even a proverb! Here are some: Slow and steady wins the race; Haste makes waste. And I’ll add my own: Quick n rough ruins the chase.
