The convicted betrayer

May 18, 2016

Even Judas the wretched couldn’t live with his treachery. He felt deeply convicted of the evil he’d done to Jesus. When he saw that Jesus had been sentenced to death following from his betrayal, he couldn’t bear his own wickedness. Therefore he hurried to give back the blood money to the Jewish leaders, and when they refused to take it back, he flung the money into the temple and found his end. Talks of the power of good. To break a hard heart. To speak the final word inside the most hateful heart. Jesus’ priceless goodness.
