No respite

You don’t have to worry that you never got that ‘break’ in life. That life was forever that relentless pursuit from one thing to the next. That you never got to just sit and indulge in life, feel pampered by it. Coz it’s how you define respite. It’s what you find respite in. Maybe it’s even possible to find respite, a sense of solace getting lost in the usefulness of life. Isn’t that better than a counterproductive grasp at respite that ends up being illegitimate?
