Humility & Pride

Pride is rarely impressed by its own self. That’s because it estimated itself more and found itself to measure less. That’s because it had a habit of being impressed by itself that nothing is really impressive anymore. On the other hand humility has loads of surprises. That’s because it estimated less of itself and found itself capable of more. That’s because it is habitually unimpressed of itself that something really impressive catches its attention. And more importantly the Lord who sees all is eager to redeem every bit of humility’s innocence. Now who can beat that?
