The pick of childlikeness

December 18, 2015

Probably the biggest selling point of childlikeness is a sense of freedom from all pressure, responsibility, fear, worry. There is an assumption that all will be well, that there is nothing called an interruption. No mountain is too big nor any valley too deep to interrupt the child from its occupation. Nothing robs a child of its joy. No pressure to perform, to match up. It can leave things just like that and pick up things again just like that. Quite a necessary disposition for a functioning adult!
