A willingness to stop

December 10, 2015

We all need the willingness to stop, slow down, adjust with economy, persist, think, consider/reconsider with hesitation, evaluate. Everything in life doesn’t come to us like a freely flowing river. And that is good because it helps us find our limits, strengths, weaknesses, our goal/vision/passion/niche. If we expect to go on unhindered, we do not and cannot build up to something meaningful, consistent or complete. If we’ve flowed only like water along the path of least resistance, it’s quite likely we’ll only be weak as water, quite choppy unable to tie ourselves together (with little continuity), all over the place without much consolidation. Be open but with a measure of reserve.
