Blindfolded

Haven’t most of us wondered at some point: “But you could never have done that to me…Whoever else, I deserved better. You had to have defended me. But I was your brother, your own, your father, mother, brother, sister, your bum pal, your lover. Even if it was ethics it was no big deal, I mattered more,”? No, there is no offense or defence (no loved one) when it’s about right and wrong. That’s precisely why she holds the scales blindfolded.
