Soil and seed

November 5, 2015

When there is a section that is expressly closed to that specific content, when there is a section that is open but not willing to devote any special/specific attention to it, when there is a section that has been exposed to the value of the content but become hardened past the gravity of it, what do you do? Continue to provide context to the content. It’s like raising the need as to why they must listen to it, why it matters, why it’s not irrelevant but dynamic. In doing all this you’re automatically ploughing the ground. Once the ground is ready it’s an easy thing not just to sow the seed where there was weed but also get to reap the fruit in keeping with what was sown. Of course if this has to work, the content must be true and reliable! It is said somebody asked how one explains to another that a stick is crooked and someone rightly answered put a straight one next to it.
