An easy yoke

October 28, 2015

He chided himself for not knowing it, not knowing how to do it. So he didn’t merely feel sorry that he didn’t know it, but didn’t let his mom help him learn it either: the little boy, all of 5 and a half. But he didn’t have to know it, coz he’d never known it. He was just beginning. All he needed to do was follow what he was told, but he wouldn’t relent. It didn’t even matter whether or not he’d succeed even if he followed instructions, all that mattered was for him to accept he didn’t have it and there was a way it could be done. The journey was going to be hard, but he was making it harder.
