Saturation

August 24, 2015

We all like to touch that point of fullness, completion, saturation. The time when there is no more left to learn, to be corrected, to be finished. My personal take is that this isn’t some unending, eternal process that needs to stretch out into forever land. That it is unattainable. I think it is yet possible to try and touch the fringes of all that can be known, understood and enjoyed of life. However, it takes time and patience. There is needed that willingness to accept that we haven’t yet mastered it. To watch that growing sense of confidence and hope take a fresh battering, but still accept it as a revelation of the exact state of affairs, collect ourselves from the dust one more time, learn a fresh tactic to handle life, and reach home. It isn’t easy, it hurts. But it’s possible.
