A smooth journey

August 22, 2015

It is important to factor in interruption for a smooth journey. Usually when we make fresh plans for new beginnings, it is common to project one smooth, uninterrupted glide-through. But nothing could be farther from reality. On the contrary we must expect, anticipate, make room, prepare and even learn to live with constant adjustment. We must learn to let go of the rhythm at times. And we must also learn to pick up again right where we left off. It is in this adjustment the smoothness lies. Not in the absence of interruptions. Next time you catch yourself thinking of an uninterrupted hereafter, think again!
