Pair two: Occupation vs. Function

July 13, 2015

This is how a mind with a propensity to be occupied will work: it thinks less, ticks off a list, feels burdened, initiates less, feels pressurized, looks for the shortest escape route.

This is how a mind that is focussed on function works: It thinks more, ticks off a purpose, feels responsible, initiates/advances/improves, objects to needless pressure, cannot rest until the job is done.

One works, one merely convinces.
