One step at a time

Sometimes we need to contain our vision to what lies on our plate. For to concern oneself with the larger goal is to be distracted, disheartened, overwhelmed. When you take up a major task, it is good to look at the landscape of the effort from time to time for that is what reminds you you are a cog in a larger wheel. It is better still to master the habit of concerning oneself with the immediate furlong. For if you totter in the steps at hand, how are you going to get past the miles ahead?
