Scrub your soul

April 23, 2015

It doesn’t happen swiftly. You can’t do wrong, immediately apologize and then be all back to normal. It takes time to feel sorry, to feel the pain, the remorse. Allow the soul to be humbled and humiliated. Feel the shame and horror of the wrongdoing. Then maybe the restoration might be complete. It’s like a fine scrubbing against a gentle swipe of a vessel padded with dirt.
